How to Use
1. Wet the Sharpener with water. |
2. Place the knife on the stand with the handle to the left and the blade edge facing away from you. The stand sets the knife at the ideal angle for sharpening. Perform sharpening on a flat, non-slippery surface. |
3. Begin sharpening where the blade meets the handle. Use index finger to apply pressure. Lightly move the sharpener back and forth, keeping the sharpener level with the blade edge. Continue sharpening to the tip of the blade. Repeat 2 or 3 times on both sides to restore sharpness.
4.For scissors, sharpen the blade edge of the front blade only. Do not sharpen the rear blade. Begin sharpening at the tip of the blade. Move the sharpener back and forth, lightly applying pressure with index finger. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Turn the scissors over and repeat. |
5. Once finished, wash the sharpener thoroughly with water, removing any residue. |
