It can also be used to sharpen scissors.<\/div>\n<div>It comes with a stand on which the knife should be placed. Begin sharpening where the blade meets the handle. Use index finger to apply pressure. Lightly move the sharpener back and forth, keeping the\u00a0sharpener level with the blade edge. Continue sharpening to the tip of the blade. Repeat 2 or 3 times on both sides to restore sharpness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">4.For scissors, sharpen the blade edge of the front blade only. Do not sharpen the rear blade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Begin sharpening at the tip of the blade. Move the sharpener back and forth, lightly applying pressure with index finger.
